Dementia Biomarkers and Map for the MIRIADE Project
Wokflows to analyse MIRIADE data and build a disease map are developed within WP1 of the MSCA Innovative Training Network MIRADE. The aim is to integrate big biomarker discovery data from multiple platforms for candidate biomarker identification in dementia.
The analysis is based on private and publicly accessible data. See section “Data Access” for details on the components of the analysis. The workflows for processing these data are detailed in “Results”.
Based on this analysis we developed a Dementia Disease Map in CellDesigner in the standard System Biology Graphical Notation using previously established protocols (see disease-maps.org) was developed to generate novel hypotheses of early-stage pathobiology of dementia. The map is accessible online via the MINERVA platform for advanced navigation, zooming and visualisation (see section “Results”).
